Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Dispatching emergency vehicles; performing incoming and outgoing multi-phone line operations; assessing incoming emergency calls with Standard Operating Procedures or guidelines to determine the proper course of action; AND dispatching in a high volume/urgent environment.. Duties
You will receive emergency and non-emergency requests by telephone, mobile radio, mobile data computers or automatic alarms throughout the Navy Region.You will operate a variety of communications equipment.You will instruct caller in a variety of emergency first aid techniques including but not limited to CPR, Heimlich maneuver, opening an airway, controlling breathing, emergency childbirth, etc.You will maintain logs, forms, and status of security and fire personnel on duty and available using the CAD system.
