Summary

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT - 04 (GS11/12 equivilant) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing standard operating procedures to optimize workflows; mentoring or coaching others to align their work with strategic organizational goals; reviewing team deliverables to provide constructive feedback; and analyzing team performance metrics. Duties

You will direct, assign and oversee work of a work force comprise of Level II, Level III, and Level IV employees and work group leaders. Plan the work schedules and standards and give instructions on how the work should be completed.You will track the progress of the work, accept or reject the work and evaluate the performance of the employees. Develop and implement measures to improve the quality of the work.You will evaluate subordinate personnel, approve leave; recommend discipline, awards, promotions and other personnel actions; and resolve employee complaints.You will act as an agent for change and communicate to the workforce the value of the NAVSEA and Warfare Center missions and the progress in achieving the mission.You will Initiate timely and appropriate personnel actions (support recruiting, hiring, promoting, lead coordinating interns/ mentoring/ stewarding new employees as they join Division 61).You will Ensure employees are treated fairly and that actions are in accordance with the merit system principles and that actions or decisions are not amongst those considered to be prohibited personnel practices.You will contribute to the mission, goals and objectives in support of the organization’s strategic plan. Develops approaches and problem solutions that affect the organization’s mission in a positive manner.You will establish clear and measurable performance standards directly linked to the mission of the organization. Provide meaningful incentives to individuals and groups.You will create a safe working environment and provide a process to publicize, track and measure safety goals. Invests in education, training and other developmental opportunities to build mission-critical competencies in the organization.
