Job Overview
Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in performing financial policy management, research and development. Experience in developing executive level deliverables, to include development of charts and graphs in support of statistical analysis and development of PowerPoint presentations. Experience performing budget formulation duties, to include spending plan development, management of financial controls and distribution of financial authorizations. Experience working accurately under pressure and performing multiple tasks with minimal errors; Organize tasks, effectively manage workload and meet deadlines. Experience in performing duties in research, analyzing and reconciling financial transactions for accuracy, interpreting standard organizational budgetary, accounting or financial administrative procedures. Experience creating, maintaining, analyzing and manipulating data in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other reports. Duties
You will formulate budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.You will review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizations programs and administrative operations.You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
